Assuming Azlask's controller has a plethora of creatures on the board, the defending player will be forced to sacrifice the creatures they have on their board
This should hopefully make this sorcery quite a sneaky surprise, which is fitting, given what it does
If youre the equipment's controller, you can equip it again to any of your creatures
Theres a growing subset of creatures who balance out a lower-than-usual cost by entering play asleep with a bunch of stun counters on them: copy them with Alteration, and you can turn your 1/1 into a full-power Arixmethes or The Watcher in the Water
The deck eschews the pillow fort strategy that enchantment decks sometimes do (no Ghostly Prison or the like here), or the combo draw everything approach including lots of 1 mana enchantments for a tap out control style of play, with extra value coming from your enchantment synergies
when youre building decks, you can choose whichever basic lands are your favorite, or perhaps tied to the decks theme
