This red instant is definitely an odd one: Fight spells are rather rare in red, but the double utility (removal plus ritual), on top of conserving your red mana for the whole turn, has made The Last Agni Kai very popular in casual Commander, and good enough to see cEDH play in Dargo, the Shipwrecker decks (usually with Tymna the Weaver as partner commander)
Bearded Axe will count itself, so it will give at least +1/+1 in most cases
This can be for a number of reasons, but more often than not its just that the player would rather not have to use up the slots
It seems more natural that way, and more fun to find out you can draft a Warriors deck, when it's not made obvious
Vile Mutilator Five generic, two black creature Demon 6/5 Uncommon As an additional cost to sacrifice this spell, sacrifice a creature or enchantment
Players should be free to open packs, craft cards, and purchase card styles without worrying about doing things "the right way." I get itif there's one thing Magic players love, it's learning to optimize their gameplay, but there shouldn't be an "optimal way" to bling out your deck
