Lets check out what it means for you and your card collection
During this portion, you want to communicate: That there are five colors of Magic , each with their own strengths and weaknesses (you don't need to get into how each of them work, just that there are five) That you use lands to play cards from your hand That you can play one land from your hand each turn That you tap lands to generate the mana you need to play cards How to read a mana cost ("2R means you need three lands, at least one of which must be red.") That cards untap at the start of your turn If you can communicate these basic concepts, then you're already making great progress
As you may have already guessed, aggro decks will typically have the lowest mana curves, control decks will have the highest, and midrange decks will usually fall somewhere in the middle
It should make for fun game play, especially if you get lucky and the card you exiled is a big play
