The four-mana enchantment-themed planeswalker is certainly interesting, but is much more of a build-around than a typical powerful planeswalker that could easily slip into any deck of the matching colors
As a LOTR fan, youll get a nice, contained way to learn and play Magic, and explore the theming youre interested inand if thats all you want to do, you can leave it there
Additionally to Ampharos its always been the starter I've selected in gen 2 play throughs which is why its ended up on my list
Because you "may" create each token, you can decline to create tokens for some of your opponents
Plenty of cards convert energy into card advantage, whether that's actually drawing cards or removing opposing permanents
But ultimately I dont see a lot of room for recycling if you want to give your cards the best or even appropiate protection
