Much more forgiving than some of the other high altitude Peruvian species - tolerating summer with temps up to 33° with very little nighttime temperature drop

but with improved colour from the pollen parent

plant will produce darker foliage if grown in optimal light conditions

With this pairing, I'm hoping to improve the leaf colour. The pollen parent has incredibly deep red abaxials & dark petioles, so I'm crossing my fingers that some of the offspring develop some red veins & petioles.
