手仕事で一点一点彫られた木の折り畳み傘用ハンドル。兵庫県小野市の森の中に佇むアトリエの「工房えらむ」の木工作家の田中陽三さんが無垢の木から彫り出した木製の取手です。木目の特徴的な物やその時の手に任せて彫られた一点ものや、森で収集した自然木を用いたハンドルを作っていただきました。

アイアンタイガーアイは和名を「鉄虎目石」といい、角閃石の一種に石英が染み込んで酸化し、茶色や黄金色に変化したものです。研磨すると光の当たり具合によってシャトヤンシー効果（キャッツアイ効果）が見られますが、その様子が虎の眼に見えることから虎目石と呼ばれています。
