Commandeur De Peyrassol Provence Rose Calgary + Nationwide Shipping the sum of the partsThe history of this domaine goes back to the 1256, when the Knights Templar constructed the Commanderie de Peyrassol. After 55 years, the estate came to be owned by the Knights of Malta, who held it until 1789. More recently Chteau Peyrassol was purchased by Philippe Austruy, who replanted the vineyards. Today the domaine is 850 hectares in size, of which 92 hectares are planted to vine. Winemaking is overseen by Pierre Gurin and Stphane Derenoncourt.
