Fort Leavenworth, known as "The Post that opened the West" and The Best Hometown in the Army, was established in 1827 and is one of the oldest continually operating forts west of the Mississippi River. The fort is also the home of the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College. This ornament was released in 2010.
