The rod weighs 4. 7 ounces on my scale. Serial #66606 which dates it to 1972. Medium fast action, a little quicker than most Orvis rods, and the rod is nice and straight. Excellent overall condition with few signs of use that I could find. Darker cane done in a three up node pattern. Wrapped in red throughout with a carbide stripper and chrome guides
