The center of the bars are swaged down to 1" diameter to fit bikes with stock or aftermarket risers (except Springers). They also taper down to 1" in the control areas for 1982 up handlebar controls, and machined slots permit internal wiring. The right side of the handlebar is notched for the 2008 up throttle by wire
