Pinky Gillum Salmon Rod 8'6" 2/2 #9 6'4" MKI check made from 1917-1921A nice H. S. "Pinky" Gillum salmon rod, 8'6", 2 pieces, 2 tips, built for what feels to me like a #9 line. Serial #I 946. Fast action. Good condition except for a couple of "camp emergency" wraps in two places on the guides, which should be restorable by any competent rod maker. The butt has a small facet crack that was original to the blank and is sealed over by the varnish coat. One tip has a 1" long section of clouded varnish where it is lifting
