Dingo Wardun Earrings Brand / Printworks Alison WhittakerWardun is the Lardil word for Dingo. Wardun was inspired by my grandmother tales of the wise old dingo that saved her ancestors with the protection from the darkness. The darkness being night time, and our mob was lost at one point and the dingo lead them straight to safety. Dingos are a very proud breed of animal, they are known as fierce protectors as well as display compassion towards their clan group. It is a trait we as Aboriginal people value
