I traced out the design in pencil over the map then painted all the colors at the same time using a wet on wet technique that allowed the colors to mix and blend

Winter Park and Crested Butte had to be added so I figured out the font size and style and printed and pasted it on the original map before painting

The original version of Wisconsin Purple Reflecting Trees was painted on the state road map of Wisconsin

Red Patina Heart is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process

then the whole piece is sealed with a UV varnish
