Featuring incised rims and slightly bolstered pillars, the reel is in excellent overall condition. No cracks in the hard rubber and no dings to the nickel silver. The foot is full length and un filed. Good click. The reel is stamped "Appleton & Bassett Boston" which dates the reel to 1893 1901. A timeless classic that
