Gold colored raised metal is used on the horizon line defining the line between the heavens and earth

It was one  of the first two Colorado maps that I painted with the intention of having it professionally photographed for reproductions

I painted both this one and the "Texas Windmill, Moon, Shooting Star" at the same time using the same palette of colors.
