Highly polished aluminum rims with black sideplates, all done in the classic S handle design. 1 1 4" spool width and the reel weighs 11. 3 ounces on my scale. Serial number "118" which is stamped into the underside of the foot crossbar along with "P. Hermann, Maker". An entirely benchmade reel down to the screws, and Dr Hermann made just a little
