Great Bircham Mill Norfolk Gifts This was quite a challengeAs I approached the mill for the purpose of studying it and taking references to produce a painting, I was briskly overtaken by a very professional looking chap with about half a ton of photographic equipment over his shoulder. He went into the field and stood right in front of the mill. To me this was not the best view of the main subject as the mill would just dominate too much. I thought the best location was to pick up the poppies that were there.
