They do such great work there at the Fish and Wildlife Service and it just shows the how much of a positive impact the duck stamp program has on our lands

Spending a lot of time sitting and observing the landscape and the weather has me reminded of a painting I did earlier this spring which is actually this week's original painting drop

What I love about this painting is how the deer matches its surroundings so beautifully

So I guess it was no coincidence when someone suggested I call it, "stairway to heaven." I thought for quite a while what else this could be called, but the only way I could think to put my experience here was that it was like heaven. I just love the way the composition came together in this. I think it captures how I feel about and my respect
