This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has a fixed check with caliper spring. Stamped "D4" inside with a 4 stamped on the foot as well. The reel has a slight right hand retrieve bias but could also be fished as a lefty. Correct original and unmolested smooth brass foot, measuring 2 1 2" in length. No line grooves to the pillars. There are no cracks or dings. Original ivorine
