This results in thinner patches of glaze in some areas of the mug. *This mug is discounted due to the glaze inconsistency mentioned above, but the mug is food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. The bottom portion of the mug's exterior was left unglazed to reveal the rich black clay. Pottery appearance (i. e. color) may be slightly different
