Hardy Bros. Palakona "Fairchild" Bamboo Rod 9' 5/6wt 7'5" The first mention we canFor sale here is a Hardy "Fairchild" Palakona 9' 3 1 5 6wt bamboo rod. Serial number E41850, made in 1937. The rod is in very good original condition. The tip is a 1 2" shorter than the butt section (made that way). There is the beginning of minor varnish meltdown and some chipping in places. Slight set in the tip. Emerald green silks with full intermediates. Agate stripping guide. Cigar grip in excellent condition. Aluminum down locking sliding band
