Pre Prohibition Abbott's Aged Bitters Copper Advertising Thermometer 007 while the wooden folding baseThis antique thermometer was developed for C. W. Abbott & Co. of Baltimore, MD in order to advertise their renowned "aged" bitters. Abbott's bitters were a staple in cocktails prior to prohibition in the US and the brand has since seen some minor revival from small batch makers. The entirety of the thermometer is made of copper. The face has some obvious discoloration. Please see the photos for details. The thermometer does not appear to work but may
