The rod was made by Bob Summers in the early 1960s for Hazel Johnson, who tied flies for the Paul H. Young Rod Co. for ~ 30 years (and also performed the role of babysitter for Paul Jr. and Jack!) Hazel's son also told me that the great Ted Williams would come in the PHY Rod Co. shop and watch Hazel tie flies. This rod and two others (a Para 15 made in 1950 by
