Hardy Silex Multiplier 2 3/4" 6'4" This rod and the newlyFor sale here is a fine example of the tiny 2 3 4" diameter Hardy Silex Multiplier, made between 1928 and 1939. Designed, said Hardys, as being "suitable for fine fishing in low water". According to John Drewett's Hardy book, only around 400 of these reels were ever made.
