This a classic Dingley made reel with early fixed caliper check, nicely blued and adequately strong. Stamped D2 and 6 on the frame. Correct original smooth brass foot is slightly kinked but straight enough to fit securely on reel seats. The foot also stamped 2 as is the cog.
