I wanted to honor the bear family in this painting I titled "Persistence

but I wanted to keep it small and I wanted it to also not distract the viewer from this place overall so I kept the moose very subtle and sort of in the distance much like how you'd see one in the wild and I gave the fire a soft glow

I watched as he whistled for nearby birds. It was such a beautiful sight and my first time this close to a pintail like this. I just new I had to paint him.
