Twenty Six Luxury Brands delete finds herself at the centerThe body of work in the book is a photo project by MarieVic. It was shot in New York City during election week 2020. The work records a sign of the times: when across U. S., city storefronts boarded up ahead of election in anticipation of the violence that could result. Plywood window coverings blanketed the high end shopping strip, an eerie sight for stores whose extroverted glassed windows are meant to speak a language of enticement.
