A couple of the wraps on one tip are the only items of note keeping this rod from being considered mint condition

Reel seat components and spacer are in excellent condition though the bluing on the sliding band has worn off

An ebonite handle, brass foot riveted to backplate and fitted with a Bickerdike style line guide. No spool wobble and a tiny amount of end play. I cannot get the spool retaining screw off as the brass rivet in the spindle boss spins when the screw is turned. From the looks of the other rivets on the backplate, it appears to be a single pawl spring. From the 1950's I believe.
