I've left the antique old gold patina and have only very light passed over a cotton cloth but would be happy to clean more thoroughly before shipping on request

Really beautifully decorated and in excellent condition despite its age. It was likely part of a longer Victorian chain that got cut down as styles changed but retains all of its original charm.
