These distinctive clips were used in the Steyr Mannlicher M1895 rifle and carbines chambered in 850R Mannlicher and later 856R service calibres. Unlike conventional stripper clips, the Mannlicher system utilised an internal en bloc clip which remained inside the rifle magazine until
