It does not sit flat so it is best for Gas and Electic Coil stove tops

and many of the authentic Santas had a tell tale pattern shift that looks like a crack on the bottom left

The flat bottom kettles were made in sizes 6 through 12 and they are amazing to use for soups and stews. The 7 through 10 are more common but the 6, 11 and 12 are very hard to find. Very unique alternative to the traditional Dutch oven. It has been fully restored with some wear and tear on the bottom. It would cook up a mean pot of chili by the campfire, or would look amazing in your displayed
