They began planting primarily Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Nebbiolo vines. This piece of land is distinctive within the Yarra Valley because it sits on an old volcanic site that has left behind a granite outcrop. The granitic, sandy soil rests on massive granite boulders, and its location on a hill on the
