Nepenthes truncata and biak are some of the largest plants in the genus so we expect this hybrid to obtain impressive pitcher size

The female parent is a vibrantly colorful Nepenthes spectabilis x lowii originally from EP. The male hamata used is a Lumut form from Malesiana Tropicals. Even at a small size, we are seeing toothiness come through. Our hope is retain the woody texture and coloration of the female parent as the plant matures. Seedlings currently have pale coloration
