Diwald, Riesling Ried Eisenhut 2019 Franschhoek complex fruit with a silkyA serious, tightly structured Riesling from one of Wagram's most important single vineyards. Eisenhut shows a more restrained, mineral expression of the grape with firm acidity, citrus peel, green apple and stone fruit sitting behind a compact core of flavour. With air, a subtle cooling herbal note emerges, adding lift and detail. This is a wine built on tension rather than immediacy, with real ageing potential.
