Fenrir, one of the most prominent figures in the myths, was the son of Loki and Angrboa. It was prophesied that he would break free from the chains that bound him, devour the sun and the moon, and ultimately swallow Odin during the battle of Ragnark. Other wolves in Norse mythology, however, were not all seen as evil.
