Gibbaeum nuciforme EA4044 (Witteberge) tylecodon Haworthia magnifica varGibbaeum nuciforme (syn. cryptopodium) is closely related to G. pilosulum but is a larger, more robust plant. It's leaves are pubescent (hairy) but not as prominent as in pilosulum. In habitat this can form large clusters of up to 25 cm. in diameter. In winter they are predominantly green in colour, under summer stress they are red or a yellow green.
