Mantis Wall Light BS2 qs Bar Stool: 46cmW × 52An admirer of Alexander Calder, Bernhard Schottlander created the Mantis series of lamps in England in 1951. They were the jumping point for a series of similar lights primarily out of France. Both an artist and engineer, his clever system of counter weights combined with a series of strong, flexible and beautifully fine metal arms create an eternal play between balance and imbalance, solid and empty. The shade also is unique of its kind, like an
