Jameson Irish Whiskey 700mL Islay Gold before being bottled in JuneA meeting of oloroso and crisp pot still character on the nose. Malty too., with a lovely fruitcake richness, though not as sweet as in recent years. The palate is very firm, oily, intense and mouthfilling. Finishing with a hint of spice which counters an increasing oaky bitterness though the barley and sherry last to the very end 40% ABV
