This is a lovely Griswold #8 Cast Iron Griddle

There is overall wear from being so old but its a wonderful piece to own

IMPORTANT:  After cleaning the skillet we discovered that somewhere in its life the upper edge of the skillet cracked or had a weakness in the pour (not likely but possible) creating a crack that only ran along the outer edge connecting the bottom to the side

This Griswold #8 Large Block, Tite top Dutch Oven, has a fantastic surface and looks fantastic for its age. This one moves on glass as do most of the Dutch ovens of that time which would make contact on glass varied. However it will not affect oven roasting in the least. Please use pictures for description
