The nose is richly layered with blackberry, cherry, mocha, cardamom, vanilla and earthy loam. The mouth filling palate has generous fine tannins and bright acidity giving a long mineral finish. Rich red fruit with a distinctive earthiness gives the wine an exotic flair. While seductive as a young wine, the balance of fine tannin and apt acidity are the hallmarks of a wine that will age beautifully.
