Dirk van der Kooij – Chubby Chair Literature 20 x 26 cm 128The Chubby Chair was designed by Dirk van der Kooij in 2012, when researching low resolution 3D printing and functional ornamentation. The Chubby Chair found its alien form through the limitations of a self developed, plastic extruding robot. Each Chubby is printed from 10kg of chipped, recycled fridge interiors.
