It was created in 1972 by crossing a Gamay and a German Reichensteiner grape. This created two distinct sibling grapes, Gamaret and Garanoir, both with their own personalities and incredible potential. Our family's "Legende," as we call it, is a blend of these prominent Swiss varietals. Gamaret offers full body, deep red color, and lingering tannins with peppery spice and rich oak. Garanoir
