Psalms of the Morning: The Church's Prayers at Dawn Resources by Ministry ReflexionesThe people of ancient Israel taught the world to awake the dawn with songs of praise. Jesus himself rose early to begin his days with these morning prayers. While the psalms are two to three thousand years old, they are amazingly contemporary. They have been prayed by the kings and priests of Israel, the apostles of the church, and the whole community of Gods people in the temple, synagogue, monastery, cathedral, chapel, and home. We too may seize the
