The corn contributes notes of buttered bread, biscuits and roasted nuts, while the heavy rye in the mashbill produces a full bodied whiskey. Fermenting and distilling through a copper pot still follows, then the bourbon is aged in new, American oak casks for a minimum of 8 years at Warehouse Z in Bardstown, Kentucky.
