The NV Sparkling Shiraz from Sfera Wines was produced predominately with a base wine from the 2019 vintage

The 2021 Tempranillo is more vibrant and bright than some of the old world counterparts - true to the Wirrega style

The result is a creamy sparkling wine with bright red fruits alongside complexing notes of leather and dark plums

The new year brought some cooling rains which slowed ripening during the late summer months. A little more difficult to manage than the 2015 vintage, and perhaps not as stand out, but a vintage that produced solid quality red wines.
