Original pale red cloth, spine discoloured to pale brown, gilt lettering and Alpine illustration to front board, boards rubbed esp. at tips of corners; endpapers lightly foxed. Titlepage printed in red and black. A VG copy. Rey was an Italian mountaineer who specialised in Alpine ascents. He later became a fine and noted
