Suzani Throw Pillow No.3 sesami-service and an authentic 1840s De-NimesCut from an early 20th century Suzani Uzbekistan. I found this Suzani on a sourcing trip through Central Asia. It was hand embroidered in Uzbekistan, likely made by a woman, or a group of women, in preparation for a wedding. The floral patterns, the sunburst shapestheyre bold, but not flashy. Stitched onto handwoven cotton, the threadwork shows age in the best way. Some areas are worn thin, others repaired with care. Its lived a life. Passed through
